Amazing food, quality and service. From my experience, the workers are all very polite and friendly. Very happy that they’re still open despite everything going on, and more than that, I noticed they make the extra effort to ensure cleanliness.

Awesome and authentic tasting shawarma.

Always a pleasure coming in. Sadly can not stay and dine due to COVID-19 but thankful to always come order and receive in amazing Shawarma and awesome service.

We had a big order of food. And for 7-8 falafels they give you a little packet not even filled to the the top to hopefully dip 1 bite in and be left with nothing. When you call them and ask them why, they think they’re doing me a service by giving me that. Last time ordering from them.

The wraps are decent but the service is very ordinary. It seems they prioritize online orders over in-person orders at the restaurant. I have been made to wait at the front of the queue for 8-10 minutes multiple times while the staff go about their business refusing to acknowledge the people waiting.

They always handle my food with the most care. I've been a customer for 10 years now and I call this place home. I love you guys and I hope you guys always stay successful especially in this higher pressure time.

I have been frequenting this location since it's opening over a decade ago and I have never had a bad experience. The food is always immaculate and delicious and it comes at an extremely reasonable price. Over and above their stellar food quality, is their insanely personable staff. I enjoy speaking to them every time I go in. I highly recommend this place over even the "mainstream" shawarma restaurants (whose quality AND quantity does not compare).

I had the chicken shawarma dinner (with only salad and fries), normally also comes with rice and potato ($19). The portion was perfect for two people but it ended up being 3/4 salad and very little fries. The salad wasn't even that good, it was a ton of plain shredded lettuce with just a couple of pieces of tomato and cucumber (nothing like the pictures on their website). I did not like the garlic and tahini sauces, very watery and tasteless however I did notice they have a different garlic sauce for the shawarma wraps and so maybe it's better. The only part I liked was the chicken, it was shaved right off the pit and tasted really good. This is more of a takeout place with a couple of small tables, it was clean, there is lots of parking and service was quick. Their weekend hours are not correct, I stopped by on Sunday around 8:40pm and they had already closed, although it says open till 10.Overall it was a mediocre experience at best, nothing special.

For more than 3 years, and until now, this place still maintains the high quality of food preparation method, as well as the distinguished service of workers in the place. So I advise my friends and everyone looking for excellence in quality and service to go to this restaurant.

I have been a long time customer of Chefs Door, before they started up a bunch of different locations. Their service and quality used to be good but it has gone down significantly. They guys preparing the food are rude most times and always inconsistent with their portions. When my wife buys a chicken shawarma plate, she gets a heaping amount of chicken. When I buy the same item, I get about half the amount she would get. This happens all the time (close to 10 times now), hence my review. I am sick of their inconsistency especially when I am paying $16 for a dinner shawarma plate. Maybe I should always send her as they seem to have a sweet spot for women.In my most recent order I found a hair in my shawarma. As you can imagine it is never good when you bite into your shawarma only to find a hair in your mouth. I will not be going back to this place anymore. It is too bad because I used to enjoy them.

Moved here a few yrs ago. 3-4 shawarma places with 3 km but by far, this is the best tasting!!! Added 2 photos of chicken shawarma salad dinner platter. Great portion, great taste...my fav local shawarma place!!

Favourite shawarma place. They have deals for students and I used to go all the time for lunch. The servers are super friendly and will joke around with you sometimes. Food is excellent, love the shawarma on fries so much. The level of spice is up to you so make sure to not overestimate your tolerance. Overall an excellent place.

Two additional stars just for the staff friendliness and flavour of the food I got (I’ve listened for the advices from them). Two missing stars for the fact that when I was eating the wrap, I felt like a small stone chip in the food, it cracked in between my teeth and the second one for the fact that wrapping paper got stuck to the wrap after grilling it, I think either the paper has to be a better quality, either less to grill, either wrap dough isn’t as good quality.

Best shawarma around... Come here at least once a week

I’ve been a long time customer and I’ve had nothing but the best of experiences with them. Customer service, food, and recently, the implementation of hygienic precautions for COVID-19. 5 stars all round. Keep it up fellas

Wish I lived closer so I could have their shawarma everyday, regardless I always stop by when I’m in town. One of my favorite places to eat, they have good portions, and authentic flavors! Defiantly would recommend you give it a try.

Their service is always great. Both guys are friendly and efficient. Fries are amazing! Feedback: It seems that the ratio of meat has been cut. Got the couple of chicken shawarma plates, as usual. The chicken was cut extremely thin, couldn’t even taste it, there was barely anything there...

Great staff, and the best tasting shawarma in the West end area

Chef's door is the best door to walk through to get amazing quality food and friendly service. If you haven't been, you really should go! Pro tip, if you like spice, ask for some spicy onions! Delicious! Clean, friendly atmosphere.

A good friend of mine recommended Che's Door to me and it has been satisfying my shawarma cravings for months now. The workers are friendly, efficient and have yet to screw up any of my orders. I would highly recommend it!! Oh and ask for Zack when you get there, he always makes me laugh.

DON NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT! HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Staff was really rude and told us that we ask too many questions, and had an attitude. It Was really bad service. And the food was okay but with the prices it’s really bad. Would never go back again. And would never recommend this place to anyone.

Food is good, the service was okay. Went in today and ordered a chicken shawarma platter. When I got home I realized that they gave me no meat on my platter even though I got charged for it.

The service will make you very happy and the food will bring tears to your eyes.I’m a self proclaimed shawarma connoisseur and after trying a majority of shawarma spots in the GTA, I can say that Chef’s Door has become my go to. It’s obvious that they use high quality ingredients because often times I feel bloated after eating at other shawarma spots. I personally enjoy the wraps the most as they’re very delicious. The pita comes nice and crispy and the meat to vegetable ratio is spot on. The chicken is marinated and cooked to perfection. The sauces are full of flavour but aren’t overwhelming. If you’re looking for a great tasting consistent Shawarma spot I highly recommend Chef’s Door. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu.

Chicken shawarma's are amazing. They are perfect every time. Falafel are very tasty. The fatoosh is also very distinct.

So thankful these guys are open during these unprecedented times. What makes me the happiest is theyre very careful when handling my food. Thank you for pushing through!

I do visit here from time to time on my lunch break at work. The quality of the food is descent. I really enjoy the potatoes that they make. The downside is that they toss to little pieces of potatoe in the lunch container when you order. They also skimp on the chicken and put more salad and rice. I can understand trying to save money and the meat and potatoes being more expensive but I would like the value for what I'm paying for. The food taste good but I want the value of food that I am being charged. Also, when they are working on your order they are just rushing throwing the sauce all over the container and making a mess. Finally, the customer service is nothing to brag about.

Been going here for the past 5 years. The shawarma wrap with a side of falafels is a killer here.

I'm usually not a fan of shawarma/fast food but decided to give this a try. Mostly because of the name. I mean, why would a chef make shawarma. :)Anyway, the food is excellent. Everything i ate exceeded my expectations.They serve good portions. The rice, potato, carrot and tomato sauce is fantastic.The salad dressing is a pleasant surprise. So much better than i expected. The falafel has a great garlic taste and its nicely crispy. I will definitely go back.My only criticism is that they still had the ads for the march special and its now the middle of april.
